Description
Iterative Scopes is seeking a manager for their machine learning and data science teams. The successful candidate will be part of the ML leadership team and manage a group machine learning engineers and data scientists. They work collaboratively with our product and clinical teams to deliver quality AI products on time. The candidate will have a track record of developing machine learning and especially deep learning and computer vision models for solving challenging real-world scientific problems.
Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and impact of their team
• Collaborate with a cross functional team that include Product, Clinical, and Regulatory affairs
• Work with direct reports to understand their motivations and develop their career paths
• Formulate an effective strategy for recruiting and retaining high performing and collaborative engineers and data scientists

Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate Degree in computer science or other quantitative fields, or Bachelor of Science with similar practical experience in an industrial or research setting.
• 6+ Years' experience in data science and/or machine learning
• Previous experience in leading or managing machine learning and/or data science teams
• Experience hiring data scientists and/or machine learning engineers
• 4+ Years' experience with developing, troubleshooting, and validating deep learning models working in the areas of video and image processing.
• Knowledge of computer vision tasks including detection, segmentation, and classification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to describe complex technical concepts to colleagues with varying degrees of technical background

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
• Experience working with more data types (e.g. EMR, genomics, biometrics, images).
• Experience deploying machine learning models to production.
• Experience working in startup environments.
