Machine Operator 1st and 2nd Shift

The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Machine Operator 1st and 2nd Shift to work at a company located in the Stone Park, IL area! Job Title Machine Operator 1st and 2nd Shift Position Location Stone Park, IL Pay/hours for position $18-20 Responsibilities of position Please post accordingly: Job Squad is looking for Packaging Operators in Northlake, IL for our food manufacturing partner for 1st and 2nd shift. Job Duties: Understand and follow Food Safety policies. • have experience in changeovers and changing out films • familiar with LOTO • knowledge of setting up the machines • Must be willing to work flexible schedules and work in other departments including weekends and holidays • Ability to read and understand recipes. • Ability to troubleshoot process related issues within the boundaries of the recipe • Ability to use digital scales and have a working knowledge of scale functions. • Ability to mix doughs according to recipe. Having a working knowledge of the mixer, using the time and batch recipe system • Follow FIFO (First in First Out), Mix lot number and documentation accuracy. • Clean & Refill ingredient bins and label the bins with the correct lot number. • Ability to work in a standing position for entire shift and climb steps and ladders. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. • Monitors and assists with equipment upstream/downstream to ensure continuous operation. • Ability to clean mixers, work areas properly during and after production runs or changeovers • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area • Observe all plant safety, GMP and allergen procedures and attend appropriate training sessions • Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements • Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your supervisor • Follow supervisor’s directives and be able to support the shift team as needed • Mathematical skills**Candidates that apply must be able to work weekends** If you feel like you'd be a great fit, please submit your resume for immediate consideration!
