Machine Operator

Premier Torque Converter is a Family owned business in Auburn for over 35 years is seeking a hardworking individual to join our torque converter remanufacturing team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of our manual lathe machine. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual with a strong desire to learn about different converter types and ensure the quality of our products through thorough testing. WHAT TO EXPECT: · Monday to Friday schedule, with weekends off · Consistent working hours from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm · You will receive a list of converters from the manager that need to be worked on, providing clear guidance on priorities and tasks · As part of a small team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute directly to the success of the manufacturing process. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Safely operate machines · Must wear protective gear (provided) · Maintain a clean and safe work space · Machine and fit parts to specific tolerances · Machine hubs on primaries for units ready to be delivered · Machine lock-ups to assemble complete units · Learn to identify torque converters QUALIFICATIONS: · Mechanical · Quick Learner · Knowledge of manual lathe · Committed to furthering knowledge of process and torque converters WAGE & BENEFITS: · $19/HR (raise eligibility after 90 days) · Medical/Dental (after 90 days) · 6 paid holidays a year (after 75 days) · PTO accrued immediately (available after 90 days) Please send your resume [email protected] we will contact all qualified applicants.
