Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CO2/Fiber Laser Engraving Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CO2 laser engraving machines to produce high-quality engraved and cut products according to design specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of laser operation, and a commitment to precision and efficiency. Duties • Operate and monitor CO2 and fiber laser engraving machines to engrave, cut, and mark a variety of materials. • Prepare and load materials onto the laser bed, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning. • Interpret and understand digital design files (e.g., .ai, .eps, .dxf, .cdr, .svg, .pdf) for proper laser setup. • Adjust laser settings (power, speed, frequency, focal length, resolution) based on material type, thickness, and desired outcome to achieve optimal engraving/cutting results. • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser machines, including lens cleaning, mirror alignment, and exhaust system checks, to ensure optimal performance and longevity. • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards. • Identify and troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and perform basic repairs as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures related to laser operation and material handling. • Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize processes and resolve technical issues. • Accurately track production data, including material usage and job completion times. • Assist with other production tasks as needed. Skills • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus. • Experience operating laser engraving machines in a production environment is a plus but not required. • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Good communication and organizational skills. • Physical ability to lift and move materials as required (e.g., up to 50 lbs). • Knowledge of safety procedures related to laser operation Join us in this exciting opportunity where your skills will contribute significantly to our production capabilities!
