Machine Operator - HVAC Division Duro Dyne

The Dynatite Machine Operator’s primary function are to ensure the assembly of various parts while using machines.

Job Duties:

  1. Assembling a variety of parts to Duro Dyne specifications.
  2. Operate assembly fixtures such as: JDS/JD assembly machine, Riveter, Bracket Machines, small presses, & Crimper Machine.
  3. Hand packaging of small kits and parts.
  4. Operate small hand tools.
  5. Inspection of material as it is being fabricated.
  6. Notify the supervisor when a machine is not working properly.
  7. Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections.
  8. Notify the supervisor if plating is poor.
  9. Record daily production and maintain production quotas on Duro Dyne forms.
  10. Load any and all raw materials as needed.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

  • Basic math skills.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Must be flexible – OT and weekends are required as needed.

Education 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience 

  • 1-2 years manufacturing or assembly experience

Physical Requirements – Essential

  • Must be able to read/write.
  • Must be in good physical condition.
  • Must have good eye/hand coordination.
  • Must be able to lift 25 to 30 lbs routinely.
  • Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
  • Use of one or both feet or legs to move controls on machinery or equipment. Controls include, but are not limited to, pedals, buttons, levers, and cranks.
  • Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s). Note: Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand to hold or operate a tool such as pliers.
