Machine Operator (Experienced) needed for a Paper Laminating, Coating & Converting Co--Day Shift

Job Opportunity: Machine Operator (Day Shift) Location:Midwest Laminating, 12650 S Laramie Ave, Alsip, IL 60803 Position Type:Full-Time, Permanent Shift:Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Midwest Laminating, a leading paper converting and laminating company, is seekingexperienced machine operatorsto join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of machinery, including Laminators, Coaters, Sheeters, Slitter/Rewinders, Paper Cutters, and Paper Handling Equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Safely and efficiently operate machinery, ensuring adherence to quality standards. • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery. • Accurately measure and cut paper using tape measures and other tools. • Handle heavy materials as required in the production process. • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Required Qualifications: • Previous experience in machine operation, preferably in a similar industrial environment. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately. • Must be hardworking, responsible, and reliable. • Must have dependable transportation to and from the workplace.
