Machine Operator

Our Client in Montgomeryville, PA is seeking a Setup Operator to join their warehouse. This position is starting at $17. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm. Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to: • Operate and program an Addison and Baileigh Machines. • Perform setups of major complexity and must safely operate assigned machinery (machinery includes: Huth, Eagle, Vertical Sander, Bench Grinder, Tube Notcher, and Flare Machine). • Must perform complex adjustments and secure workpieces/products in holding device. • Perform changeovers, preventative maintenance, quality tests, and moderate repairs. • Adjusts controls to set and regulate machining factors, such as pressure, rollers, blade angle, and machine speed. • Effectively train Machine Operators on the safe operation of assigned machinery. • Must demonstrate good housekeeping practices. • Ability to rotate to all functional areas. • Report existing or potential machine problems to a coach or supervisor. • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • Operate and program an Addison and Baileigh Machines. • Perform setups of major complexity and must safely operate assigned machinery (machinery includes: Huth, Eagle, Vertical Sander, Bench Grinder, Tube Notcher, and Flare Machine). • Must perform complex adjustments and secure workpieces/products in holding device. • Perform changeovers, preventative maintenance, quality tests, and moderate repairs. • Adjusts controls to set and regulate machining factors, such as pressure, rollers, blade angle, and machine speed. • Effectively train Machine Operators on the safe operation of assigned machinery. • Must demonstrate good housekeeping practices. • Ability to rotate to all functional areas. • Report existing or potential machine problems to a coach or supervisor. • Other duties as assigned • High School Diploma/GED/Industrial Mechanical Certification (preferred) • Must have 5 to 7 years dedicated to understanding a specific technical operation and experience in a manufacturing environment (required) Basic computer and reading skills. Must know Lockout-tag out procedure. Ability to meet production and scrap standards. Excellent interpersonal, strong work ethics and communication skills.
