Job Summary
MAD's Support Specialist manages the team's loan maintenance, correspondence, and payment processing. In maintaining portfolio loan maintenance, supports work in internal and external source systems to correctly code accounts, precisely file claims to protect the bank's rights and remedies, properly assign portfolio loans, and constantly update loan-level risk ratings. In managing correspondence, supports processes the incoming and outgoing customer communications and ensures document retention in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. In processing payments, supports ensures payments are applied timely and accurately at the loan level to mitigate findings and complaints. Notary is a plus.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes system loan maintenance, including claim set-up, transfers, officer assignments, risk rate changes, and charge-offs.
- Executes full cycle of team letters from populating templates, mailing, scanning, and uploading for document retention.
- Monitors mail for incoming checks, payment processing, correspondence, complaints, and legal actions.
- Processes/Proofs team payments, reversals, and reapplies accurately and timely.
- Assists team with special assignments, when warranted, to identify existing or potential problems and to resolve issues.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
