Compensation Range

Hourly: $14.15 - $16.35 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to identify incoming mail from USPS and sort in a timely and accurate manner.

Essential Functions

• Sort inter-office mail to proper recipient and/or department
• Transport inbound and outbound mail volume (up to 50 lbs.) through the use of a mail cart to internal departments and customers located within a three block radius (may be subjected to inclement weather - rain, snow, heat and cold)
• Maintain accountability of tracked mail pieces by scanning and obtaining signatures upon delivery
• Assess outbound mail type and process under proper class and rate; allocate postage expense to appropriate department/cost center
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and meet Commerce Bank's driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirements.
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
• Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• 1+ year experience in a related field required
