Role and Responsibilities & Must have Skills:

Mainframe Infrastructure Solution architect would primarily perform following:• 15 + years of experience as a Mainframe Solution Architect (understand customer problems and devise solutions)• Creating solutions for Mainframe Customers for Mainframe as a Service, Managed Services and InPlace Modernization (zLinux Adoption and Product Replacement)• Work closely with various OEMs and ISV vendors and come up with technical solution as well financial models • Should have expert level of knowledge on IBM, EMC, HP and other mainframe hardware and software vendors on Solutioning.• Should have sound knowledge on presenting various Solution models to client and internal and external leadership• Good to have knowledge on IBM Linux one and other related software and solutioning.• Established strength of being able to engage with clients and communicate effectively as a subject matter expert• Prior experience of working with a system integrator and building solution offerings is a plus• Good knowledge of trending technologies e.g. Cloud, AI, Security• Hands - on with technology and being able create demo assets and showcase to customers, conduct PoCs, run enablement sessions• Ability to interlock, understand and engage with various senior executives of DXC and Clients to create value prop, content and assets to drive Mainframe Solutions up to winning deals.

Qualification :• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience• 15+ years of Experience as a Mainframe Solution Architect.• Good communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and management• Good creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work• Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks• Ability to lead and work in a team environment• 25% of time-Willingness to travel

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the DXC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of DXC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a vacation policy and region-specific benefits.

At DXC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $135,000 - $202,400.
