Who you are:

As an Mainframe Programmer III, you are responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information systems. You'll play an important role in the design, coding, testing of these programs. You'll use your strong problem-solving skills to ensure that the applications are performing optimally and meet our high standards. You are not afraid to ask the question why and thrive in a collaborative environment.

What you'll do:

• Resolve problems encountered by the user and keep management informed of any obstacles
• Write specifications and develop coding for application programs
• Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
• Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science or related field or equivalent working experience
• 6+ years experience in programming
• COBOL Programming Language- must have written/modified/debugged
• COBOL programs within the past six months and are very familiar with COBOL syntax and debugging
• CICS- online knowledge and development of CICS Command Level coding
• Knowledge of mainframe VSAM files and the use of IBM utilities that access VSAM file
• Knowledge of mainframe IBM utilities such as IDCAMS, SORT, IEBGENER, IEBCOPY
