Maintenance Electrician - 1st and 2nd Shift

The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for 1st and 2nd shift Maintenance Electricians to work at a company located in the Chicago, IL area! Job Title Maintenance Electrician (1st and 2nd shifts available) Position Location Chicago, IL 60639 Pay/hours for position Pay Rate:$40-$44 per hour Shift Hours: • 1st Shift 6A-2:30 PM • 2nd Shift: 2P-10:30 PMRequirements of position PREFERRED SKILLS Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial electrical role • 2+ years of PLC experience • Ability to troubleshoot equipment for performance and product quality • Strong written and verbal communication skills • PC skills, including Excel and WordResponsibilities of position Job responsibilities include: Summary:As an Electrician, you’ll be essential to keeping our production equipment running safely and efficiently. • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyors, PLCs, and control systems • Support PLC systems: backup and restore Allen-Bradley and Schneider programs • Troubleshoot Ethernet networks and device IPs • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Provide electrical expertise on capital projects and equipment upgrades • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments for diagnostics and repairs • Perform preventative maintenance on power systems and air compressors • Uphold and promote safety in all tasks and environments • Work in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing setting • Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently; occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with help • Work at heights, in tight spaces, and in varying temperatures • Use PPE including safety glasses, bump caps, and hearing protection • Regular use of hand tools and computers for data entryBenefits:Comprehensive benefits package The JobSquad Solutions Team is made up of experts around the country.
