Maintenance Electrician/Technician

Specific Responsibilities • Repair or replace electrical components of equipment and systems • Troubleshoot electrical issues with vacuum packaging machines, motors, controls, sensors and systems. • Install and program electrical controls including PLC and VFD. • Ensure safe operation of all electrical systems. • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and systems • Minimize equipment and systems down time. • Maintain inventory of repair parts and electrical assemblies. • Maintain detailed electrical diagrams. • Provide electrical safety training to mechanics and production workers. Required Skills and Experience • Ten years’ experience in a Manufacturing Environment • Experience working with low voltage and high voltage including 3-phase electrical systems • Ability to read electrical schematics. • Proficiency using electrical diagnostic tools. • Knowledge of National and NJ electrical safety code. • NJ Master Electrician Licensee Preferred Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • Electrician: 10 years (Required) License/Certification: • Electrical License Preferred (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • West Caldwell, NJ 07006 (Required) Work Location: In person
