Maintenance Mechanic

Summary:
Journal Register Offset is looking for a FT evening/night shift Maintenance Mechanic, for our newspaper printing and inserting facility
What you will do:

• Performing mechanical/electrical repairs on various printing, inserting, packaging and warehouse equipment
• Interfacing with operators and supervisors about production and equipment issues
• Assisting operators in diagnosing and repairing equipment issues
• Performing minor building repairs as needed

What you will bring:

• 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment or other mechanical/electrical trade is preferred
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Understand mechanical drawings
• Understand electrical schematics is a plus
• Working hours are 6pm-2am, 7pm-3am or 8pm-4am, Sunday and Monday off
