Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor - PM

wonderful experience. The Supervisor Engineering & Maintenance coordinates the
installation, maintenance, and repair work in the Fulfillment Center. They manage a team of
Facilities Technicians, Maintenance mechanics and leads.
The Supervisor Engineering & Maintenance is responsible for managing projects, ensuring
quality work is being deliver as well as ensuring all Maintenance Mechanic duties are completed
in a timely manner. This position also assists the Sr. Engineering Manager daily and providing
department leadership in his/her absence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but not limited to, the
following.

● Regularly inspect sites, execute work as necessary, maintain equipment and assign
workers to various projects.
● Responsible for training and developing staff and ensuring the smooth running of upkeep
or repair operations.
● Collaborates in the hiring & recruiting process, supervise and train maintenance
technicians
● Ensures attention to detail, high quality and excellent customer service is delivered by all
team members.
● Creates SOP’s, procedures, types emails to different levels in the organization, writes
reports.
● Must have technical skills and knowledge on mechanical and electrical
● Preventative Maintenance scheduling and work allocation. Proactively engaging team to
find and resolve issues prior to equipment failures.
● Supervise contractors during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers
etc.)
● Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
● Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
● Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

Supervises all mechanical and electrical installations, equipment modifications and
ensures the team members are working in a productive manner.
● Supervisor is responsible for quality, design, and results of any equipment work.
● Give support to Manager with regards to accomplishing tasks while escalating any
issues that arise.
● Offer suggestions for performance evaluation; oversee the duties of designated crew
members.
● Available to work overtime when required with last minute notice, or if called in after
working hours, on emergency calls.
● Make an estimate of cost of labor and items needed for work orders.
● Monitor inventory of spare parts and equipment. Acquires competitive prices for supplies
and equipment required by the Fulfillment Center.
● Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering and/or Minimum 2 year experience as Maintenance
Mechanic Supervisor and/or minimum 5 year experience as a Maintenance Mechanic with
proven ability to lead and supervise others.

EQUIPMENT
Pick to light system, print apply equipment, conveyors, photo eyes, forklifts, Tape gun, Scale,
Box cutter, Label machine, Air pillow machine.

PHYSICAL DEMAND
Regularly lift and/or move objects 40-75 lbs. occasionally.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
