Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and certifiedAAADM Sliding Door Technicianto perform the maintenance, repair, and installation of automatic sliding doors throughout the DFW Airport property. This position ensures the safety, reliability, and code compliance of all automated door systems in terminals B,D, and E. Key Responsibilities: • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair automatic sliding doors, including sensors, motors, glass, and control units. • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all AAADM-certified automatic doors and related components. • Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies affecting door operations, including during irregular hours or inclement weather. • Ensure all work complies withAAADM standards, safety regulations, and airport operational guidelines. • Document work orders, inspections, and repairs accurately in the maintenance management system. • Collaborate with other maintenance teams, security personnel, and airport operations to minimize passenger disruption. • Participate in safety and compliance training related to door systems, electrical work, and general facility maintenance. • Identify potential hazards or deficiencies and recommend corrective actions. • Adhere to airport security protocols and maintain required access credentials. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED • ValidAAADM Certification(American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers) (preferred) • Minimum 2 years of experience servicing automatic doors • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record • Ability to pass a TSA background check and obtain airport security clearance • Preferred: • Experience working in an airport or large facility environment • Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and mechanical door controls Skills & Abilities: • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics • Physically able to lift 30+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces • Effective communication and documentation skills • Commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Compensation Package: • Overtime pay Schedule: • 12 hour shift • Day shift • Overnight shift Application Question(s): • This position is located at the DFW International Airport, and requires you to pass a 10 year federal background check.
