Maintenance Technician I

Position Summary:

Conducts general maintenance, minor repairs and installations within the DC and the facility grounds including Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to ensure minimal interruption to the operations of the facility.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Safely perform routine maintenance for all areas in the facility, including all temperature zones and general offices. Multiple tasks may include cleaning, seeping, mopping, painting, carts and all warehouse equipment (MHE) including electric pallet jacks and forklifts

• Cleaning all warehouse areas and its surroundings and provide support to warehouse tasks such as unloading

• Communicate with local facility leadership to ensure maintenance requirements are met or exceeded.

• Any other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED

• Drivers License

• Certificate of Good Conduct

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in fueling, maintenance or operation of automotive and heavy equipment

• Ability to understand and execute verbal and written communications

• Possess general mechanical knowledge of a wide variety of vehicles and equipment

• Willing to work any schedule, including weekends and holidays, due to our 24/7 environment

• Must be able to work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions

• This position must pass post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Forklift operator knowledge
