Maintenance/Custodian

Job Summary: Victory Collegiate Academy is looking for a reliable and proactive Campus Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This key role combines general maintenance, custodial duties, and light handyman tasks, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students and staff. The ideal candidate will possess a variety of practical skills to maintain the facility and address any repair needs promptly. Key Responsibilities: • Lead maintenance efforts for the new campus facility • Perform repairs and maintenance on building systems and structures as needed • Handle routine maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, irrigation, painting, electrical work, and carpentry • Maintain cleanliness of all areas by performing tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming • Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces • Empty trash bins and properly dispose of waste • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as necessary • Conduct minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs or fixing small leaks • Adhere to established cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and on time • Follow all health and safety guidelines and regulations Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience in general maintenance, custodial work, and handyman tasks • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and functional environment • Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices • Must possess an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card • Must pass a background check • Excellent time management and organizational skills If you are a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for upkeep and cleanliness, we encourage you to apply for this important position with us!
