Managed File Transfer Administrator

As the Managed File Transfer System Administrator on our Data Movement Technology team, you will use your knowledge of Managed File Transfer (MFT) and other related technologies and software to administer, maintain, and support our MFT Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with multiple teams, such as client service and support teams, database administrators, network administrators, storage technicians, and others to help the Data Movement Technology team deliver the highest quality service for MFT solutions.

Consult with business working groups or other technology teams to help design and deliver effective solutions on the MFT platform.

Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and usage of the technology to achieve the objectives and goals of customers.

Plan & Execute projects to upgrade the platform, introduce new features & functions, or integrate with new systems or technologies, including assisting with budget planning.

Administer the platform; working with our Global Technical Operations team to operate and maintain the platform as required.

Work with the various vendors involved with the MFT Services at the Firm, taking responsibility for managing aspects of vendor engagement.

Support the platform by being an active, engaged, responsive part of rotational off-hours support.

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of demonstrated experience with administration of a commercial Managed File Transfer platform.

• 2+ Years of experience in operational support and problem resolution for Windows-based systems.

• Knowledge of key data flow/transfer protocols and security methods such as SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS and FTP.

• Knowledgeable regarding cryptography as employed in above protocols; strength of ciphers, key exchange algorithms, data integrity hashing, SSL/TLS strength and management of certificates, PGP and Key management, etc.

• Knowledge of MS SQL Server, T-SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

• Professional IT Industry certifications
