WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Management Reporting & Analytics Expert will partner with Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) technical leaders to drive the translation of our foundation modernization roadmap into actionable items for our teams. You will have solid communication skills, a deep understanding of portfolio management, strong business operations experience, an attention to detail and quick problem-solving abilities. You also have experience serving as a Chief of Staff to executive leaders, supporting them in developing critical initiatives and act as a facilitator between teams, ensuring that all parties are communicating and working towards the same goals. In addition to growing your own individual strengths, you're proactive in mentoring and up leveling the team's expertise on implementation methodologies.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You work with the Business Operations and Enablement team (BOE) and are responsible for facilitating the development of our technical roadmap strategy, governance, and communications, leading execution and delivery, and ensuring clear visibility across the capabilities of potential issues, risks, and roadblocks. You will drive our technical roadmap implementation to elevate enterprise data capabilities across Nike. You will identify dependencies across program/product teams by facilitating and building consensus to ensure minimal risk to our delivery. You will serve as a thought-partner and Chief of Staff to our senior engineering team to craft our long-term technical strategy, communicate it across our executive teams and Global technology partners, and ensure our operating model is working effectively to deliver against commitments.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You report to the Director of Business Operations and Enablement for Enterprise Data & Analytics. Your regular interactions will include, but will not be limited to, our senior engineering leadership team (VP and Sr Director), global technology partners, Senior Product leadership team, Program, and portfolio management team.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
We're looking for someone who has these experiences and clearly demonstrates the following skills:
- Bachelors' degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field OR a combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- 8+ years project/program experience or business operations within data and analytics capabilities, software applications, or a related field.
- Successful track record working with executive level professionals to drive business outcomes
- Has played a leadership role on multiple projects, successfully delivering critical components of projects or programs
- Outstanding verbal, written and communication skills.
- Strong initiative and independence, needing limited oversight and direction during critical decision points or issues in the project/program
- Highly collaborative with outstanding communication, management skills and ability to build key relationships with a wide spectrum of partners, ranging from senior leadership to entry-level professionals
- Consistent track record of translating complex information and ideas into easily digestible content and executive level presentations
- Interest in understanding the broader strategic context and fluid business dynamics that inform final deliverables
- Understands software development processes, and possesses solid understanding of various agile development framework including, Kanban, Scrum and Agile methodologies for large scale organizations
- Proven ability to remove barriers that may affect timely project delivery. Has built, assessed, and implemented risk mitigation plans to resolve negative impact to programs
- Attention to detail with a passion for maintaining standards and data cleanliness.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills is a plus
