Management Trainee

Morrison Industrial Equipment is looking for a full-time Service Management Trainee at our Elkhart branch, located at 2988 Paul Drive, Elkhart, IN, 46514-8796. This team member would start in our service department, managing work orders and technician dispatch. They would later have opportunities to move up within the department into management roles.
Morrison Industrial Equipment has a strict drug-free policy, and all employees will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, background and driving record check. Employees are also subject to random drug screenings.
This team member works Monday-Friday, first shift hours, and works 40 hours a week with the opportunity for overtime.
Compensation starts at $24/hour, dependent on experience. 
Our Management Trainees/Service Assistants Typically Possess: 

• 2+ years of management experience
• Strong interpersonal skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Strong mechanical knowledge

• Computer skills, intermediate level, including experience with Microsoft Office 365 

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment 

• Excellent customer service skills 

• Desire to learn and advance 

Essential Functions: 

• Processing of technician timecards and organizing weekly payroll. 

• Opening, processing, and monitoring of work orders to ensure successful and efficient service. 

• Proactively contacting customers to provide repair status of units. 

• Debriefing with technicians at the conclusion of each day for the purpose of efficient scheduling. 

• Repair estimate preparation, presentation, and processing. 

• Processing of warranty claims. 

• Answering phones and assisting customers with a positive customer focused attitude. 

• Assisting with rental inquiries, quotations, set-up and deliveries. 

• Intermediate level computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel. 

• Additional duties, as assigned.
