Job Description
Managers at INK serve as program and project-level day-to-day leads on up to four accounts. This role works with client and team to consistently implement communications strategies and integrated campaigns that drive results. They have excellent media relationships and are able to develop and pitch compelling story angles. Managers hone their client service skills and planning expertise in this position, working closely with strategic account leads. They produce client-ready materials and thoughtful analysis and data-driven measurement reports. They practice INK's motto of "be there before," staying ahead of industry and media trends, anticipating client needs and opportunities, and sharing their insights generously with their teams and clients. They embody INK values and culture and are committed to employee development, managing 1-2 INKers through day-to-day coaching, regular check-ins, and performance reviews. They may be part of the client services (CS) and media relations teams and will report to, advise, and be coached by INK's Director and/or VP level executives.
Requirements
- Minimum six years of full-time communications experience, agency setting preferred
- Experience in B2B, tech, and/or renewable energy, preferred
- Experience with client relations
- Excellent writing skills, clear communicator
- Strong pitching skills and media relationships
- Ability to organize and manage multiple client responsibilities
- Ability to learn and understand client industries and complex, technical topics
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting
