Job Summary

The Manager of Physician & Leadership Account Management leads the account management production for the Locum Emergency Medicine/Hospital Medicine division by driving business growth plans for POA & Order Volume, participating in strategic initiatives, and implementing action plans for developing and engaging team members in order to increase fill rate, market share, POA, revenue, and profitability of the EM/HM (Emergency Medicine/Hospital Medicine) division and AMN Healthcare. This position is responsible for managing direct EM/HM (Emergency Medicine/Hospital Medicine) program operations and delivery of candidate talent through direct EM/HM (Emergency Medicine/Hospital Medicine) programs which includes creating and driving direct pipeline growth resulting in placements as well as candidate generation for client presentation within 0-48 hours of search creation. This role will oversee and create sourcing avenues and channels to identify talent for current and future needs. In addition, the Manager provides leadership to EM/HM (Emergency Medicine/Hospital Medicine) team account managers and ensures strong service delivery relationships are in place with EM/HM customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of operationalizing current and new direct accounts and supporting post-implementation in a manner that exceeds client expectations.
  • Strategizes with division leadership to ensure production of team member KPIs in order to drive performance and exceed monthly revenue and operations plan.
  • Reviews POA targets with team members and implement strong tactics to ensure targets are reached and exceeded.
  • Interprets and cascades enterprise-wide company goals in terms of operations plans and production expectations for department leadership in order to communicate & reinforce strategy.
  • Provides oversight and leadership to EM/HM (Emergency Medicine/Hospital Medicine) Account Managers to ensure program success and development and growth of team.
  • Serves as end-to-end subject matter expert of the service as it fits within all EM/HM (Emergency Medicine/Hospital Medicine) accounts, to include use/adoption of VMS technologies.
  • Creates and adapts performance measures that stay current with company and industry changes by aligning metrics vertically and horizontally across organization.
  • Incorporates sophisticated talent planning methods into strategic plans to manage succession, build career paths drive engagement and deliver on service expectations.
  • Ensures timely and accurate documentation of candidate/client contact information, interview documentation and appropriate stages in the system.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, exhibit dependability and flexibility in working with co-workers to accomplish work in order of priority. Simultaneously, adapts quickly to changing priorities and ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects.

  • Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree | Preferred

  • Minimum Work Experience
  • 7+ years in client-facing role
  • 7+ years in Sales or Account Management.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role.

  • Key Skills
  • Active affiliation with appropriate professional healthcare networks and organizations.
  • Knowledge and experience in healthcare executive recruitment, candidate sourcing and networking, technology, quality, and/or process improvement.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.

Pay Rate

$56,500 - $70,500 Salary

Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
