Role/Responsibilities:

An individual contributor responsible for managing a corporate portfolio and exercising independent judgment in order to maintain customer relationships under limited guidance from manager.

Reporting To: S VP Account Management

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of customers under limited guidance from direct manager.
  • Responsible for liaising with external parties such as issuers to resolve data and invoice issues.
  • Negotiate fee and fee terms for fee arrangements, while maintaining customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide support to management in relation to general regional account management including the ratings application process, liaising with business development and the other internal teams as required.
  • Independently respond to customer queries ensuring an excellent level of customer-centric service is provided.
  • Coordinate and participate in customer meetings.
  • Generate documentation such as fee brochures and pricing letters to support pricing approvals and exceptions as it relates to the annual fee negotiation process.
  • Source and collate information in preparation for customer meetings which may include credit research as directed by the Manager.
  • Responsible for maintenance of internal databases in relation to customer details, pricing and fees
  • Responsible for working with internal parties including but not limited to Billing and Collections Teams to resolve customer and invoice inquiries.
  • Position requires approximately 20% US travel.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Undergraduate / First Level degree (or equivalent) preferably in finance, accounting, business or economics.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrate solid working knowledge of Capital Markets and consistently and effectively applies knowledge to their existing role.
  • Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with and contribute to a large and diverse team.
  • Ability to prioritize and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to be proactive and exercise initiative.
  • Strong experience in using MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with CRM platforms, including Salesforce is a plus.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is (($90,000)) to (($130,500)) , depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
