*Remote but must be in Dade/Broward in office 2 times a month *

Overview: This position will primarily oversee financial and technical accounting and assist with external financial reporting matters as well as other special projects requested by management throughout the year within the Corporate Accounting department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
• Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience or four (4) years of public accounting is required
• Advanced skills in MS Excel such as complex formulas vlookups pivot tables as well as data management and analysis
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong US GAAP and financial accounting experience
• Workiva and Workday experience is preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and be methodical in solving problems
• Excellent organizational skills in order to balance multiple projects and competing priorities
• Candidate is reliable and timely

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all aspects of the technical and financial accounting processes
• Lead and develop members of the Corporate Accounting department
• Oversee preparation of key financial statements reports and metrics for executive management
• Participate in the research and documentation of current and proposed accounting literature on the business as well as accounting and financial reporting processes
• Partner with business operations and finance teams to standardize create and continuously improve processes
• Support the preparation of Forms 10-Q and 10-K
• Liaison with internal and external auditors
