Job Description
Warby Parker is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to assist the Accounting team in managing their corporate and consolidations reporting. The Accounting Manager will have responsibility over operational expenses and accrual management as well owning close tasks, preparation of financial statements, supporting financial audits, and managing a team of Senior and Staff Accountants. What you’ll do:
- Lead all aspects of our operational expense accounting, including accruals, prepaid expense management and payroll allocations.
- Responsible for intercompany calculations and transfer pricing management
- Managed payroll, tax and long/short term balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage and review financial statement reporting during the month-end close. This includes creation of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Flux analysis.
- Responsible for close checklist management and consolidations review
- Act as liaison between the Finance department and marketing, payroll, legal and FP&A
- Strategically implement control procedures and process efficiencies to streamline reporting data and financial accuracy.
- Assist with quarterly and annual financial audits.
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of senior and staff accountants.
Who you are:
- Backed by 5+ years of relevant accounting experienceÂ
- Experience managing team members
- The proud owner of a Bachelor of Science in accounting or finance
- A total Excel expert (keyboard shortcuts are your love language)
- Super serious about your work (without taking yourself too seriously)
- A highly collaborative and communicative team player and self-starter willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
- Positive, kind, and excited by a challenge
- Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Warby Parker may pay more or less than the posted range based on factors such as relevant experience and skills, qualifications and location, among others. This range may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible to receive a cash bonus and an equity bonus as part of the total compensation package.
