Your Role

Invesco is looking for a finance/business professional to support their external and internal management reporting of assets under management (Investment products). This position interacts with Financial Planning & Analysis, Data Management, and multiple business contacts throughout the firm responsible for various financial products offered by Invesco. In this role, you will learn about the financial services industry and be provided with an opportunity to work in a global environment. This role manages a team of three people. Invesco works in a flexible hybrid model, requiring in office attendance three days per week.

You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing public and internal reporting of Invesco's daily and monthly Assets Under Management
  • Partnering with various business contacts to ensure correct data flow of purchases, redemptions, terminations, and market movement from underlying source systems
  • Ensuring timely loading of assets managed into Oracle EPBCS (planning & forecasting solution) for reporting to the CFO, CEO, and other business department heads
  • Leading monthly meetings with Financial Planning & Analysis teams across the US and EMEA to review & finalize accuracy and completeness of AUM reporting prior to public disclosure
  • Providing on-going direction and feedback to Hyderabad, India finance personnel who support AUM reporting
  • Partnering with enterprise data office to identify and implement improvements to asset data quality and information flow
  • Coordinating resources across Invesco departments to ensure project goals are met
  • Providing background information on AUM reporting to the finance data and cloud team to support build-out of automated reporting via Alteryx
  • Managing performance and development cycle for GBS Analysts including but not limited to setting goals, completing performance evaluations, development reviews, and managing work schedules
  • Facilitating long term workforce planning, succession management, and compensation for the team

The experience you bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in business is required with an emphasis in Finance, MIS, or Accounting preferred. Knowledge of Financial Services Industry preferred.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience working in a Finance, Accounting, MIS or general business role.
  • Experience working with data, extensive Excel spreadsheets, and multiple points of contact in an organization highly preferred.
  • People management experience highly preferred.
  • Experience working with offshore teams a plus.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with a variety of individuals across multiple functions and regions.
  • Demonstrated process-oriented organizational and leadership skills with ability to identify and execute improvements to existing processes. Ability to demonstrate leadership skills including collaboration, influence, strategic thinking, and concise communication.
