We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live in the States of Oregon, Washington and California.

The Manager Actuarial Analytics: Sales is responsible for producing pricing, forecasting and reserving deliverables. This requires coaching and priority setting for direct reports as well as collaboration across multiple departments to achieve organizational objectives.

Providence is calling a Manager Actuarial Analytics: Sales who will:

  • Be responsible for producing enrollment metrics, forecasting, and competitive landscape deliverables
  • Coach and set priorities for direct reports
  • Collaborate across multiple departments to achieve organizational objectives
  • Serve as a technical resource and as a mentor to all within the Financial Analytics and the larger Informatics department
  • Maintain an understanding of the changing health care and actuarial trends and how they impact the organization
  • Remain current on government regulation and guidance as well as analytic techniques, methodologies and data sources
  • Build and maintain relationships with other leaders across the organization including Sales, Product, Finance, Underwriting, and outside the organization (CMS, provider groups).

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Science or a related field of study
  • 5+ years Healthcare actuarial experience, Experience working with Medicare Advantage pricing and bid development
  • Experience with writing queries in SQL or another programming language
  • Demonstrated experience applying project management skills in data-related and financial analysis projects

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience certifying the Medicare Advantage Bid
  • Experience with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid revenue methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience with managing professional staff who work independently on tasks and projects

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
