As a vertical leader, you will manage a team of sales professionals within high priority categories. You will need to have natural leadership skills; the ability to coach, develop, and challenge your direct reports; and strong client-facing skills. Vertical leaders should have a deep understanding of the performance of top accounts at Snap and a point of view on how they would accelerate growth in their vertical over the next year.

What you'll do:
  • Have command of and be responsible for the growth of a North America based App & Performance marketing centric vertical within a global mid-market team

  • Manage a team of consisting of various sales roles; each with varying degrees of seniority and experience

  • Build and manage relationships with key clients and agency partners

  • Hold your team accountable to revenue quotas, budget growth, account graduation and KPIs

  • Define, execute, and deliver KPI-driven measurement strategies

  • Understand broad App and Performance Marketing trends and translate into strategic areas and opportunities to drive growth of the business

  • Assist Sales leadership with determining individual quotas and account lists for team members

Knowledge, skills & abilities:
  • Proven track record in scaling and growing performance or mobile app advertising based clients in the US 

  • Ability to diagnose account health metrics and be an advocate for clients with internal stakeholders in product marketing, customer insights, and/or marketing. 

  • Proven track record in growing one or both: net revenue retention from the book of business and/or budgets won.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization (internally and externally)

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Understanding of the account management function within sales within a self-service media platform

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise across app & performance marketing centric verticals

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management

  • Ability to travel 30%+ of the time

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years experience in sales in digital media space

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team

  • Can facilitate meetings with multiple senior stakeholders

  • Pre-existing relationships with senior performance and brand marketers within app-based industries

To reflect this, we practice a “default together” approach and expect our team members to work in an office at least 80% of the time (an average of 4 days per week). Remote team members still are expected to travel for mandatory in-person gatherings and to fulfill business needs, at least 4 to 6 times per year. 

For NY based applicants: 

  • The standard base salary range for this position is $205,000 - 225,000

  • This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive program

  • This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
