Manager, Advertising Partnerships
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Advertising Partnerships to join our team at Philo, a leading vMVPD. As a Manager, Advertising Partnerships at Philo, you will help maximize the tremendous growth we’re seeing in ad sales overall and support our cutting-edge programmatic-first sales approach. The Manager of Advertising Partnerships will be responsible for managing and growing programmatic, reseller and data-driven advertising partnerships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the success of our advertising initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new advertising partners, including demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), agencies, resellers, and data and measurement vendors
- Negotiate and manage advertising deals and contracts, ensuring that they drive revenue and meet the needs of the company and our partners
- Work closely with ad ops to help shepherd deals through the integration process
- Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize performance
- Maintain an up-to-date database of existing and new partners across programmatic and reseller channels
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, marketing, product, legal, and content/BD to ensure that advertising initiatives are aligned with the company’s overall strategy and goals
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on partner performance, revenue growth, and partnership development
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and share knowledge and insights with internal teams and partners
- Attend industry events and represent Philo with partners across the advertising ecosystem
What You'll Bring (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, with a proven track record of success in managing partnerships and driving revenue growth
- Strong understanding of programmatic advertising technologies, including DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, and data/measurement vendors
- Strong understanding of CTV and experience working with premium video inventory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
- A collaborative nature that thrives when working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, exciting environment while maintaining an unwavering dedication to quality work.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to sell value and not just price.

Location: Brooklyn, New York or Los Angeles & San Francisco, CA
Compensation: Includes an annual salary between $130K - $175K depending on experience and location, company stock options and health benefits.
