Job Description

How you'll make an impact:As a Manager on our Advisory Services team, you will be responsible for planning, execution, documentation, and client relationship management for Advisory Service engagements which complement Strata's technology portfolio. This position is focused on solutions related to financial planning (operating budget, capital planning, long range planning, forecasting), financial analysis, and financial performance management.The responsibilities of this role include:
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve financial planning and analysis functions within a client organization, with consideration for organizational priorities, culture of accountability, offline workflows, etc.
  • Define project scope based on customer's implementation timelines, priorities, timeline, resource capacity, and complexity.
  • Deliver clear and concise roadmap and planning documentation to various levels of the customer organization, from C-Suite to VPs, directors, and managers.
  • Coordinate logistics (timing, resources, meetings) of engagements with customer as well as internal Strata resources.
  • Build internal and external presentations to outline project plan, timing of stages, progress, and outcomes.
  • Lead service projects by: data gathering, user interviews, process flow documentation and design, communications, identifying and managing change management upstream and downstream from the tool, and rollout support
  • Participate in business development activities as needed.
  • Assess current customer portfolio for Advisory Services opportunities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including business development, account management, service delivery management, practice directors, etc.
  • Identify and collaboratively address areas of opportunity for the Advisory Services practice
  • Proactively create net-new content to support current and future client demands
  • Provide guidance to team members on project delivery, client management, and career development
What we're looking for:
  • Expertise in financial planning (operating budget, capital planning, long range planning, forecasting), financial analysis, and financial performance management
  • Experience in consulting, client management, operations, analytics, process improvement, and change management, preferably coordinating highly visible projects, presenting concepts and deliverables, and leading meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability in translating strategic imperatives to tactical work plans and outputs
  • An understanding of financial concepts, including financial statement analysis, cost accounting, service line reporting, and other decision support capabilities
