MANAGER, AFFILIATE - ADVISORY SERVICES
The Manager, Affiliate - Advisory Services is responsible for supporting the strategy and direction of Nordic's Affiliate Solutions service line. The Manager, Affiliate - Advisory Services is responsible for solution development, sales enablement, project delivery, and delivery oversight related to assigned projects. The Manager, Affiliate - Advisory Services ensures the success of projects, serving as the key business line liaison to both clients and consultants, monitoring the progress of the project, providing oversight, education and guidance, and performing client-facing work as needed.

The Manager, Affiliate - Advisory Services is responsible for supporting the strategy and direction of Nordic's Affiliate Solutions service line. The Manager, Affiliate - Advisory Services is responsible for solution development, sales enablement, project delivery, and delivery oversight related to assigned projects. The Manager, Affiliate - Advisory Services ensures the success of projects, serving as the key business line liaison to both clients and consultants, monitoring the progress of the project, providing oversight, education and guidance, and performing client-facing work as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager, Affiliate - Advisory Services will have the following key responsibilities which include but are not limited to:
- Serving as central point of contact to oversee and/or complete all phases of a project, including project design, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing to ensure all projects - whether directly managing, executing the work, or providing oversight
- Building strong client and consultant relationships, completing regular client and consultant check-ins, reviewing status reports, providing recommendations and best practices, and identifying and mitigating project risks
- Monitoring and managing the project resources, scope, timeline, and budget adherence
- Communicating effectively with all project stakeholders while serving as an escalation path to managing concerns or issues, which may occur through collaboration or referral to the appropriate department or position
- Supporting the creation of Nordic solution materials, such as toolkit documentation and proposals
- Discussing client needs with Implementation Services leadership for new solution creation
- Sharing lessons learned and best practices with the Affiliate Solutions team and help improve our solutions, tools, and recommendations based on learnings
- Working with Nordic teams on sales enablement activities, which includes onsite presentations and proposal creation
- Creating media content, including webinars, podcasts and blog posts, regarding key industry trends in relation to Advisory Services
- Representing Nordic by attending conferences and client presentations regarding Nordic's Advisory Services including co-presenting with Advisory Services Directors
- Partnering with Advisory Services leadership to support the overall performance of the service line; supporting service line vision and initiatives, establish goals, and report achievement progress
- Acting as point of escalation for project team and client; performing services directly for clients as necessary
- Supporting pre-sales scoping and solution design activities in close partnership with internal sales and solutions teams, including the creation of customized sales presentations, messaging and content
- Serving as a thought leader for the service line, creating webcasts, podcasts, white papers, and blog posts to educate prospective and existing clients, and may also teach internal Nordic classes
- Researching healthcare-related topics and continued learning by attending seminars, tradeshows, and other pertinent events to help grow the business, and ensuring new learnings are incorporated into standard methodology and strategy
- Staying abreast of the latest technology, regulations, and news relating to Epic and healthcare IT, continuously evaluating market for opportunities that supersede competitors' products
- Overseeing product development, creation, and refining, ensuring the strength of product offerings
- Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years' experience in Healthcare IT required; direct experience with Epic systems preferred
- 3+ years' experience with Community Connect, merger, acquisition, or other EMR extension projects
- At least one Epic certification preferred, but not required
- Prior experience and understanding of Epic's install methodologies required
- Proven ability to solve complex problems through development of creative and value-add solutions
- Able to positively influence and engage consultants and clients, generating interest and enthusiasm for the business line
- Solution-oriented; skilled in grasping the essentials in complex situations, anticipating client needs, and conceptualizing both problems and solutions
- Strong customer service attitude and skillset
- Proven ability in time management with strong attention to detail
- Experienced in talking comfortably with individuals at all levels of an organization in groups or individually and with C-suite and senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experienced in talking comfortably with people at all levels of an organization in groups or individually
- Must demonstrate and embody Nordic's maxims
- Solid working knowledge with Microsoft Office products and other collaboration tools, including virtual meeting and cloud technologies
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Travel up to 80% of the time, including travel outside of regular work hours
- Working in Madison, WI, is not required but trips to the Nordic Home Office in Madison, WI will be expected
- Position works a non-traditional schedule; work may be needed on weekends or evenings
