Job Title: Manager, Amazon

Reports To: Sr Manager, Digital Marketing

Position Location: Vernon Hills, IL

FLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Exempt

Position Summary:

The Amazon Manager will oversee and optimize our presence on the Amazon platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Amazon's ecosystem, a proven track record of successful account management on both Vendor and Seller Central, and the ability to drive sales growth while ensuring a positive customer experience. As an Amazon Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize our product visibility, increase sales, and enhance overall performance on the Amazon marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize the overall health and performance of the company's Amazon Vendor/Seller Central account.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess account health, sales, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize product listings to improve search visibility and enhance product rankings.
  • Create compelling product content, including images and copy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely restocking to prevent stockouts and meet customer demand.
  • Implement effective inventory strategies to minimize excess inventory and maximize sales.
  • Develop and manage Amazon advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Display Ads, to drive traffic and increase sales.
  • Analyze advertising performance and adjust strategies to achieve optimal return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Monitor and respond to customer reviews and inquiries promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage positive feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with Amazon's policies and ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.
  • Implement best practices to mitigate potential issues related to product listings, customer reviews, and account health.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to generate regular reports on sales performance, advertising effectiveness, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve overall Amazon performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 5+ years' related experience

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing Amazon Vendor and Seller Central accounts, with a successful track record of driving sales and optimizing performance.
  • Previous experience working for Amazon a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of Amazon's platform, algorithms, and policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and achieve ambitious sales and performance goals.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the e-commerce landscape and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization
  • Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization
