Manager, Analyst/Press Relations

Location
Our Manager, Analyst Relations, Press Relations & Corporate Communications (“AR/PR/Corporate Comms”) will be an integral part of our Product team in North America. This role is based remotely in the Eastern or Central United States timezones.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an articulate and self-starting Manager of Analyst Relations, Press Relations, and Corporate Communications to run our related programs in this area. This is a great opportunity for a motivated communications professional to join an important voice at DoiT that tells our corporate, product, technology, and innovation stories in key influencer channels. As a Manager of AR/PR/Corporate Comms, you will be responsible for driving positive company and product coverage by developing the narratives and stories that “land” for our target market of prospects, partners, influencers and investors. You will build and support the relationships with key analysts and journalists from the research,  business, trade, and technology media resources in the public cloud ecosystem. You will drive our participation in key research reports, media opportunities, analyst briefings, industry awards and corporate communications to represent DoiT’s uniquely differentiated value proposition in a domain-informed manner.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive stakeholders and design the strategy for AR, PR and Corporate Communications with accompanying execution plan and measurement
• Manage the PR agency team to monthly and quarterly results
• Develop and own key media, analyst, and influencer relationships that will drive positive influence and coverage to our target market
• Create a unique point of view for the company in its work with key influencers
• Develop stories and narratives that have an impact, are unique, and have a purpose
• Write and edit press releases, pitches, analyst briefings and other materials for driving PR and AR
• Conduct regular cadence of analyst briefings for influential analysts to share strategic outside-in insights with our executive team
• Drive strategic big-picture roadmap sessions with influencers for long-term planning
• Develop and manage the internal and external corporate communications operating model that supports authors and stakeholders throughout DoiT to reach our target market with product and brand content
• Collaborate with senior DoiT executives and subject matter experts for input to content
• Become a critical resource who is trusted by our top executives to represent DoiT’s strategic vision for delivering on the true promise of public cloud

Qualifications

• This role requires close collaboration with a core set of influential internal executives, tech industry analysts & media, and other influencers to deliver strategic impact to the business. Strong communication, follow through and executive presence is critical to success
• 5-7 years AR/PR, communications, or sales leadership experience in a high-growth, global B2B/B2D systems/SaaS/Enterprise software company
• Ability to evangelize and educate internally and externally about our modern technology
• Confident leader who can collaborate with a diverse set of C-level executives, leaders, and stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams
• Ability to drive and own strategy to implementation with autonomy in a remote environment
• Passion for networking and growing the partnership circle of highly-trusted influencers
• Proven track record of driving press coverage and positive results, including managing an agency relationship
• Proven track record of working with industry analysts, in particular building up/creating an analyst relations program
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-changing, collaborative and remote environment
• Have an exceedingly high EQ and can facilitate trust in relationships
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of strategic planning, goal setting, and program execution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have hands-on senior writing skills as an articulate storyteller with a passion for finding a unique and differentiated angle to drive coverage
• Experience creating content, messaging, and stories for media, analysts, and other influencer audiences
