Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, Apparel Data Analytics & Consumer Insights will be a new addition to the Planning & Strategy team to allow for a 360 view of our business and tie together what we’re selling with who we’re selling to. This position is responsible for consumer profiling (insights and analytics), lifecycle marketing, and segmentation strategy of the Peloton apparel consumer. This role will work closely with Marketing, Planning and Merchandising to develop KPIs and measurable goals that tie to the overall Apparel strategy.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Manage daily/weekly KPI reporting, presenting actionable performance insights to all levels of the business
- Build and maintain dashboards and tools that provide insight into the performance of ecommerce channel efforts, including but not limited to site merchandising, site content, customer experience, conversion, promotions & customer acquisition/retention campaigns, and traffic trends
- Partner closely with Merchandise Planning on a weekly basis to deliver comprehensive weekly performance reviews by providing analysis on consumer insights, site content/merchandising performance, and channel performance reporting
- Create channel specific KPI goals / forecasts that tie back to topline demand revenue and inform short and long-term strategies to achieve channel revenue goals
- Collaborate closely with Site Operations, Merchandise Planning, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to define site KPIs, develop dashboards and deepen the understanding of our customer
- Create market-specific consumer pyramid/tiering
- Assess and evaluate customer‚ lifetime value, customer acquisition cost, consumer engagement, etc
- Develop consumer profile of Peloton’s global apparel consumer
- Manage segmentation strategy - use data and creativity to explore and test new segments
- Find opportunities for A/B testing in segmentation and messaging in order to optimize and drive improvements to important metrics (first-time sales, repeat sales, and offer redemption)
- Ensure the database/consumer list pulls are segmented effectively for targeted marketing initiatives
- Partner with Data Science Teams to build consumer reporting, acquisition funneling, and retention/lifecycle metrics
- Create better efficiencies within current consumer data flows
- Track/manage/and recommend ideal promotional offers / retention activations based on consumer lifecycle & consumer segmentation insights
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of internal systems and platform capabilities
- Implement share-out cadence with cross-functional collaborators on Apparel customer insights
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 5 – 8 years experience in data analytics related roles for digital and retail businesses
- Experience in using data to solve business problems and drive insights that inform marketing strategy
- Strong analytical skills paired with strategic business acumen with a willingness to test new ideas and leverage data to inform results and findings
- Diligent, results-driven, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial. Ability to act as both a “player” and a “mentor”
- Ability to grasp audience segmentation, mapping customer journeys, and driving relevant personalization
- Ability to formally present business strategies and action plans
- Experience with online/mobile CRM, campaign management tools, and other SaaS solutions
- Experience with customer data flows and omnichannel integrations
- Expert Excel skills
- Experience in Google Analytics, Shopify, Google Sheets, and Looker
- Experience with Simon Data, Segment, and Braze is a plus
- Understanding of data privacy and governance policies is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills
- Collaborative, adaptable, and possesses a willingness to take on new projects
Base Salary: $138,800.00Â to $180,400.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
