Manager, BI Product Management
The Manager, BI Product Management, within the Business Intelligence & Data team will be a critical member of the Amadeus Hospitality Business Intelligence team. The successful candidate will be the holistic product owner responsible for Demand360+ as part of the Business Intelligence data and SaaS products. The role holder will play a critical role in leading the highest margin product in HOS, and with significant competitive pressure coming in the next few years as data exclusivity partnerships lapse. The role holder will identify, design and build new products and data integrations in hotel activities around total property revenue management.
About the role:
- Produce detailed and prioritized backlog for Demand360
- Produce vision and strategy for Horizon 2 and Horizon 3 future features
- Establish and document market needs and UVP to create differentiation
- Help drive new sales, retention, and/or industry thought leadership position through analysis and presentation of findings
- Document and articulate product features while collaborating with design, technology, and subject matter experts to refine vision and requirements.
- Own and define vision and expansion of Demand360 through current product integrations, new data integrations, and net new product offerings.
- Communicate proactively and precisely across different groups within product operations, and leadership about progress against deadlines, emerging issues, and proposed changes.
- Identify key customer needs, quantify and validate market potential, and create unique value proposition offered by Amadeus Hospitality.
- Develop a roadmap based on future program backlog and be comfortable presenting the roadmap to stakeholders
- Work closely with other Product Managers and Product Owners to ensure priorities are aligned across the products and release teams.
- Lead productization of available data integrations, data science, machine learning, and net new data integrations that either enrich products currently in market or can be productized and positioned uniquely alongside the current product offerings.
- Identify new technologies or external third parties to facilitate acquisition of hotel booking or other valuable data (airlines, events, etc.) Identify commercially viable vendors/partnerships to maximize data acquisition and enhance value to customers. Manage vendors/partners including relationship building, quality control, operations and billing review.
- Be responsible for achieving annual sales, revenue and EBITDA targets, as well as managing COGS.
Requirement:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- MBA or Advanced Degree preferred
- Experience leading product and/or technical initiatives for hospitality-oriented SaaS or data products.
- Experience working within an industry standard product management methodology, with a preference for Pragmatic Institute Framework.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, with a preference for Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze and present data with and to all levels of a customer organization.
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience related to product management, data warehousing, data governance, data architecture, strategic planning, hospitality revenue management.
