Manager, BI Product Solutions Management
The Manager, BI Product Solutions Management is responsible for creating data solutions that will help the largest global hotel and car rental brands in the world grow their business. They are the expert on our Rate, Agency and Demand data sets and design custom solutions to give clients superior value and data and seamlessly integrate it into their sophisticated revenue management systems and practices. The Manager, BI Product Solutions Management needs to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of travel data, revenue management practices and big data analytics. They should be familiar with project management and need to demonstrate the ability to lead a team of BI Product Solutions Analysts.
In this role you'll:
- Become an expert on Amadeus' Rate, Agency and Demand data sets and own the knowledge management process to support innovative custom data solutions and new product development.
- Design, build and deliver custom BI data solutions to the largest global hotel brands. Lead team executing on solutions and integrating to revenue management and data and reporting systems.
- Build a scalable approach to creating customized and standardized analytic packages and reports for sale to clients and use in new product development.
- Design and automate operational and technical processes to create efficiencies to deliver and service both custom and standardized BI data solutions
- Maintain account relationships at the operational level ensuring close management of customer business and technical needs including direct business solutions management for assigned accounts
- Work with sales to develop statements of work that define scope, deliverables, schedules, cost estimates and pricing for enterprise customer data solutions
- Assisting Analysts with customer support cases when needed
About the ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required in related field
- 3+ years of hospitality experience
- Strong knowledge of travel industry pricing and revenue management practices
- Strong knowledge of data quality management and best practices
- Demonstrated interest in data mining, large-scale data modeling and business requirements gathering
- Literate with Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of SQL and other data and analytics packages preferred.
