Job Description

Are you ready to join a collaborative, results-focused team that enjoys helping businesses accomplish their goals? In this role, you'll report to the Director of Marketing (OnTask), and your primary focus will revolve around formulating and implementing brand marketing strategies that amplify Ontask's brand presence and steer business growth. This role involves the development, coordination, and execution of marketing strategies aimed at bolstering Ontask's brand image and fueling business expansion. Key responsibilities encompass devising content schedules, upkeeping vital marketing assets, assessing content alignment with the brand, executing media plans and PR initiatives, and overseeing content creation.

A day in life includes supervising a team of marketing specialists, greenlighting marketing components like creative materials and advertising media, ensuring the rollout of brand messaging, and collaborating with product managers to ensure suitable brand representation. Seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure uniformity in messaging and brand positioning across all communication channels.

About the Role:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values. Define the brand's unique selling proposition and competitive advantage in the market and work with your team to get our message to market.
  • Brand Identity: Manage Ontask's brand identity, including brand guidelines, logos, visual assets, and brand messaging. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, including websites, social media channels, advertising campaigns, and collateral.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand positioning and differentiation. Use consumer insights to inform brand strategies and messaging.
  • Leadership: Lead a dynamic team of marketing specialists and content producers, orchestrating cohesive campaigns that effectively communicate the brand's message while achieving key performance indicators.
  • Campaign Management: Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the brand's key messages and value proposition. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, create, and launch campaigns across various channels.
  • Content Development: Contribute and manage the content team to create compelling and engaging content that aligns with the brand strategy. This includes press releases, blog posts, articles, social media content, videos, infographics, and other content formats.
  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the Sr. Growth Marketing manager to utilize digital marketing channels, such as social media, email marketing, search engine marketing, and display advertising, to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads. Optimize digital marketing campaigns based on data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Channel Partnerships: Support Channel Marketing Manager to provide appropriate branded content to support brand partners, influencers, and industry leaders to expand brand reach and enhance brand credibility.
  • Brand Monitoring: Monitor and analyze brand performance and reputation through various tools and platforms. Implement strategies to enhance brand sentiment and manage any potential brand crises.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the brand marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and a positive return on investment (ROI).

Work Schedule/Environment:

  • This can be a work-from-home-based role in any of the following states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New York, Massachusetts, Texas, Tennessee, and Washington.
  • We offer a flexible work schedule.
  • Employees can also work from our Tampa, FL, Office if they wish.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, or related disciplines
  • 5 plus years of related B2B marketing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of team management experience. Preferably a content marketing team.
  • In-depth knowledge of brand management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong research and analytical skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adept at multitasking with high attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to work as a member of a team to meet critical deadlines.
  • Experience with Wrike and Asana, Crazyegg and hotjar is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Campaign Manager, Search Console, and other reporting/analytical tools such as Moz and SEMRUSH.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has supervisory responsibilities and will manage a team of 2-4 people. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
