Our Manager, Brand Marketing will be an integral part of our Product team in North America. This role is based remotely in the Eastern or Central United States.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic leader who can contextualize, activate and evolve a comprehensive brand strategy with a B2B audience in the public cloud market. This is a great opportunity for a motivated B2B brand professional to champion the DoiT brand in a way that tells our corporate, product, technology, and innovation stories with clarity and consistency. As DoiT’s Manager, Brand Marketing, you will be responsible for taking our unique value proposition and translating it into look, feel and voice expressions for use by DoiT sellers, engineers, marketers, agencies and executives. You’ll help teams communicate our brand promise through the use of brand standards and reviews to ensure that the public cloud market recognizes us uniquely from the rest of the market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of our B2B audiences and competitive differentiation and translating this to brand positioning in a manner that resonates and is differentiated.
  • Author and maintain message map, brand guidelines, and other strategic frameworks that translate our brand for DoiT teams to inspire and direct daily work while maintaining consistent brand identity. 
  • Operationalize the brand architecture through brand reviews to ensure consistent application of our brand across the organization. 
  • Define, live and breathe brand positioning and brand identity guidelines, being a guardian for tone of voice.
  • Assist in the continued development of our brand identity. 
  • Manage internal and external communications as needed, staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends.
  • Perform other operational marketing duties as needed.
  • Become a critical resource who is trusted by our top executives to represent DoiT’s vision for delivering on the true promise of public cloud.

Qualifications

This role requires close collaboration with a core set of internal executives, technical content producers, and  others to deliver strategic impact to the business. Strong communication, follow through and executive presence is critical to success.

  • 8+ years of relevant brand marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Branding, Communications, Analytics, or relevant field
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and timelines
  • Proven experience in brand marketing techniques
  • Experience aligning business goals and challenges with brand experiences and campaigns
  • Self-starter who can lead strategic and practical conversations with internal clients and leaders
  • Ability to analyze research and make data-driven recommendations
  • Knowledge of research methodologies, including heuristics, user journeys, and persona development that may guide evolution of our brand identity over time
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated growth-oriented mindset and track record for innovation
  • Compelling storyteller who loves to connect the dots
  • General computer skills and a working knowledge of MacOS, MSFT, Google Workspace, Project Management Software, (Monday, Asana or similar), and Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis in knowledge of creative and marketing practices
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and execute on tasks and handle multiple, diverse assignments while producing quality work and being accountable
