Job Summary
The Xfinity Brand Strategy team's mission is to build strategy that positions Xfinity as the brand that connects people to more of what they love through consistent actions, identity and messaging across all channels, functions and touchpoints. Through brand strategy, identity, positioning, messaging, and planning, we ensure clear and consistent understanding of the role of the Xfinity brand in peoples' lives among employees, partners and consumers. We are a key partner and input to all areas of the organization, uniquely positioned at the intersection of our product experience, business imperatives, and marketing communications.
We are seeking a Manager, Brand Strategy reporting to the Director, Brand Strategy to be responsible for end-to-end ownership of strategic brand frameworks, positioning, naming and messaging for Xfinity products, features and go-to-market initiatives. This role will translate business objectives, product features, and consumer insights into simple, clear, benefit-led consumer messaging that reinforces the Xfinity brand purpose, principles, and positioning. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, a self-starter, an excellent communicator, driven by a genuine curiosity and passion for building brands people care about.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Bring the Xfinity brand to life through meaningful strategy that will connect with our audiences, build brand equity, and drive business impact
- Champion Xfinity brand thought leadership narrative across all communications and brand touchpoints
- Use product & consumer insights to help develop positioning, naming and messaging for Xfinity brands and go-to-market initiatives
- Understand brand messaging needs of various stakeholders and influence / drive alignment across the business
- Develop and manage research briefs to support marketing organization, delivering insights to inform brand positioning, naming, messaging and campaign strategy
- Partner with teams across the business and external partners to ensure we show up on brand in every moment, experience and touchpoint for prospects, customers and employees
- Manage direct reports, as well as agencies and other third parties to bring brand strategy to life
- Highly collaborative role that requires a unique blend of soft and hard skills, including partnering with other teams, analytics and research synthesis, excellent writing and communication skills, and understanding of marketing planning and strategy
