ABOUT THIS ROLE
As the Manager, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance at Apex Silver you are responsible for oversight and execution of all things related to Apex Silver's Business Systems Analysis and Quality Assurance teams and workflows. You will:

• manage a team of business systems analysts (BSAs) and quality analysts (QAs)
• research, recommend, and implement new tools and technologies, and/or workflows/processes to facilitate completeness and quality of our documentation and testing artifacts
• train the team to be business logic experts and exceed internal and external stakeholder expectations for Apex Silver's solutions
• assist in designing, analyzing, and testing financial services applications

This role works closely with the product managers and the development manager to ensure system documentation and feature functionality meets our high-quality standards using our solution tenants. Additionally, this role ensures that all escalated internal and external non-technical requests are addressed appropriately.
Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage, and lead the business systems analyst (BSAs) and quality analysts (QAs) team
• Help manage allocation of analyst resources for cross functional teams
• Establish business systems analysis and quality standards
• Research, recommend, and implement new tools, technologies, workflows, processes for system documentation and quality assurance
• Assist in design, analysis, and testing of Apex Silver's software applications
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software analysis and testing developments

Skills & Requirements

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 5 years of experience
• Knowledge of software development and its technologies, business systems analysis, software quality assurance, and software development life cycle
• Knowledge of fintech, investment services back-offices, tax concepts, practices, and procedures
• Experience with SQL, linux, data comparison and analysis, documentation tools, and testing tools
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and team building skills
• Lead and direct the work of others with a proven ability to develop teams into top performers
• Demonstrates strong problem solving skills, process driven mindset, resourcefulness, and the ability to meet responsibilities with minimal direct oversight
