The Business Analysis & Project Management Manager is responsible for supporting all projects within certain application sets falling under the Change Management discipline. S/He will coordinate with the PB Change Management Manager to oversee a team of Project Managers (PMs), and Business Analysts (BAs), and will coordinate as needed with outsourced UAT testing resources. S/He will participate in formulating strategy at the group level and will help to manage the strategy execution. They will also oversee the initiation, analysis, organization, completion, and deployment of small to large sized projects that address business goals and needs. S/he may participate with his/her team in any or all phases of the project life cycle and is responsible for execution in accordance with standards and best practices.

This position has 4 or more team members reporting to them. S/he oversees the group's operations to ensure success through executing on strategic initiatives, building peer relations across the business and technology teams, as well as managing resources effectively to align the group to business goals. S/he is thought of as a subject matter expert in both the project management and business analysis disciplines and will be accountable for continuous improvement and refining associated processes.

S/he will be responsible for identifying, hiring, training, and managing a team of BA and PM specialists who in turn will be responsible for handling complex requests by the front office/client, planning and determining technology upgrades, as well as resolving complex problems as they arise withing the LOB.

Role:

This role will be responsible for managing the strategy, prioritization and execution of several products/applications and strategic projects. S/he will propose appropriate staffing of those products and projects, appropriately prioritize them in the best order, considering resources, subject matter expertise and systems dependencies. S/he will be primary escalation point of any product or project issues and will make the determination whether the item should be escalated to leadership.

This role will focus on setting the agenda for specific products that they oversee, determining the timing of all related enhancements and projects and ensuring that we have the resources within the business to deliver the agenda prioritized each year. This individual will be responsible for determining the plan based on business need and executing on the plan from a resource and project execution perspective. The implementation of the plan will have a direct impact on PB employees and potentially PB clients providing them with the tools needed to do their job more efficiently and a more delightful client experience, respectively.

The manager will meet with LOB stakeholders to determine priorities and adjust accordingly based on needs. S/he will coordinate with external vendors to determine capabilities and will meet with the PB Change Management Manager to ensure planning and resourcing are appropriate to accomplish the planned agenda. S/he will work with the PB Change Management Manager to meet with LOB stakeholders to present plans and conflicts in a clear and concise manner with recommended solutions.

The manager will manage a small sized team. They will ensure that the team is capable, well trained and prepared for all requests.

Responsibilities:

Establish and Oversee the Business Analysis & Project Management

Disciplines within PB Change Management

  • Ensure projects are well managed with timely execution from a BA and PM perspective
  • Address staffing needs and concerns
  • Act as subject matter expert on all things related to their product set
  • Propose prioritization and strategy for product set

Client Service / Relationship Management

  • Develop strong working relationships with the Front Office Relationship Teams, PB support groups, and Tech counterparts
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for all issues related to projects and product set
  • Use sound judgment to resolve problems

Management of the team

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of their team
  • Hire, onboard, coach and provide feedback
  • Semi-annual review process

Process/Productivity Improvement

  • Look for continuous process improvement opportunities, propose solutions, and execute
  • Communicate professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues
  • Focus team on speedy execution
  • Work on large projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • BA / BS
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to design efficient workflows
  • Ability to identify, escalate and resolve problems/issues
  • Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrates efficient time management
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and relationship management skills

Salary Range

$130,000 to $160,000

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
