  • Representative project: Analyzing attendee demographic and behavior datasets (e.g. RFID) to identify attendee personas that can be leveraged to customize onsite experience of different attendee segments of a conference.

  • Design, build and automate the deployment of our data pipelines to support data scientists and analytics team members with their data and reporting requirements. This includes partnering with IT on the architecture, prototyping and development of data extracts, and the subsequent transformation, cleansing, and integration of data from multiple sources.

  • Support the development, maintenance and documentation of data model, data dictionary and data flow diagrams

You will need:
  • Experience: 5-7+ years of progressive business experience, data science and/or consulting experience a must; Practical, intuitive problem solver with a demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into actionable data science tasks and translate quantitative analysis into actionable business strategies
  • Data Science: 5+ years hands-on experience building supervised or unsupervised models with statistical and datamining tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL, and other object-oriented programming languages); Familiar with the foundational approaches to the major data science disciplines, such as data preparation, advanced statistics, machine learning, recommendation engine, and natural language processing. Experience with data visualization tools a plus.
  • Data Engineering: Hands-on experience with traditional data engineering tasks such as building analytical data records, predictive modeling, as well as data extraction via SQL (T-SQL a plus). Experience liaising between IT and business stakeholders a plus.
  • Drive: Detail oriented, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication skills: Good combination of technical and interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Strong core values: You demonstrate integrity, collaboration, a no-limits mindset, objectivity, and consistent results using global best practices.
