What you'll do:

Responsibilities:

This is a manager of a team of Business Intelligence professionals who regularly provide critical business insights to service sales teams, both direct and indirect.  The role includes interfacing with GEO-level and WW sales teams, understands how to guide requirements gathering, prioritization, BI creation, reporting automation, and advanced analytics, including use of AI.

  • Manages and controls activities within a single country or a sub-region which is part of a larger geographical Region.
  • Manages at least 4 employees and typically between 8 and 15 direct reports. Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.

What you need to bring:

The role is focused on leadership of reporting development, creation of advanced business intelligence, and exploration of how to leverage AI to support service sales growth. Working knowledge of various BI tools is important and includes elements such as SQL, Power BI, advanced Microsoft Excel techniques, understanding of the HPE data landscape and strategy, creation, maintenance, and use of data lake techniques and associated automated reporting, creation of advance business intelligence, and AI concepts. The manager is responsible for interacting with GEO and WW services sales teams in order to understand business intelligence requirements, priorities, and desired outcomes. Critical to the role is demonstration of the ability to manage development projects across team members and other reporting development teams as well as effectively managing employee development, particularly in the areas of advanced analytics and AI.

The role must understand how to synthesize business priorities with GEO-specific BI requirements and drive global standards. Interaction with the executive level to explain emerging BI strategies is also important.
