The Role: Opertions Manager
One of Slalom's global teams is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Global Business Advisory Services team. In this role you will support our growing Global BAS team by managing the people experience for all team members, onboarding new hires, supporting Global BAS events alongside the Events Manager, and managing general operations for the broader Global BAS organization.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison between Global BAS & corporate services as it relates to process & procedure (HR, Corporate Operations, Finance, IT, Procurement)
- Work closely with Global BAS leaders to initiate, oversee, and/or manage special projects
- Own awards & recognition process for Global BAS team members
- Help organize new hire onboarding (including comms, preparing new hire materials, working with IT to prepare new hire laptop, etc.)
- Design, build, and track/assess efforts to enhance the GBAS Employee Experience
- Serve as Program Manager and provide associated logistical and tactical support for Employee Experience efforts/initiatives
- Support Global BAS events planning, coordination, and execution alongside Events Manager
- Provide general communications support
Required experience and skills:
- Ability to transform new ideas into reality while executing and delivering consistent results
- Previous experience in an operations role, dealing with numerous stakeholders at Director+ levels
- Comfortable with ambiguity and sees no task as "too small" or "beneath" them
- Proven ability to exercise high degree of confidentiality and objectivity with scrupulous attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience working with a global team is highly preferred
