Kalypso is seeking an exceptional candidate who is looking for an exciting career in financial and business operations as a Business Operations Manager, helping to drive business performance visibility across the globe through regular reporting and scenario analysis financial modeling. This role will act as a liaison between the executive team by providing critical business insights and the financial analyst team ensuring accurate and timely reporting. They will ensure integrity in existing financial data and manage impacts to other business systems and processes. Business Operations Manager will report to the Director of Business Operations with strong interaction with the Global Business Director.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a professional environment, thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative workplace, and take ownership of their work with superb attention to detail. This role requires an individual who is extremely thorough and organized, with excellent Excel skills. We are looking for someone with high energy who is willing to dig in and problem solve and analyze large sets of data. This person must have excellent interpersonal skills managing a global team and interacting with various executive stakeholders. This role is full-time and is 90% remote with up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities:

Strategic reporting / modeling:

  • With Global Business Operations Lead, support design and build of annual forecasting model and process.
  • Weekly review and analysis of profitability by project, capability, industry, type, and region.
  • Oversee financial reporting including: profitability report, weekly run-rate, practice-specific P&Ls, Principal and Director reviews, Senior Manager reviews, commissions, monthly operating recap.
  • Help define, manage, and analyze key business metrics and escalate issues.
  • Support development of value-based pricing strategies and unique pricing models.
  • Partner with cross-functional team to support global operations and reporting including Bottom-Up Planning, AOP Planning, Headcount planning and quarterly forecasting.
  • Conduct ad hoc business analysis to support special projects requested by Global Director.
  • Interface with Rockwell Finance region leads (Americas) to discuss forecast and performance.
  • Contribute to internal weekly and monthly operational reviews for the Americas.
  • Define how to drive annual productivity.
  • Partner on business process and systems changes to migrate to new business systems and/or integrate M&A activities.

Operation System Support

  • Systems in use:
    • NetSuite OpenAir
    • Zoho CRM
    • WorkDay
  • Own and solidify data structure and governance process recommending system changes.
  • Oversee data validation and integrity between connected systems.
  • Drive development of streamlined reporting leveraging PowerBI.
  • Engineer financial processes to support acquisitions or new pricing strategies.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the project controller team and the business operations associate team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in a finance and reporting position
  • MBA or MS in Finance or Accounting or other advanced financial certifications.
  • Experience working in a professional services firm.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, strong Excel skills.
