Job Summary

The Manager, Business Process Management will lead and manage process management and process improvement initiatives across the entire organization while also establishing more traditional business process management functions.  As a part of our larger Transformation Office this role will work collaboratively with others across the organization in developing, improving and optimizing business processes and providing solutions for complex business problems.  

This position is dynamic individual contributor role and will report to the Director, Business Process Management. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement engagement across various teams/functional areas
  • Lead and manage high impact projects crossing multiple platforms (i.e. process mapping, change management, cross-functional process improvements) leveraging functional subject matter experts
  • Partner with implementation and change management teams to ensure process changes are accomplished and establish proper monitoring capabilities
  • Review and analyze organization business needs; confers with users to evaluate requirements, discuss solutions and develop plan of approach
  • Guide project teams at all levels throughout the function including collaboration with internal business unit leaders to execute process changes
  • Plan and facilitate Kaizen or other improvement events
  • Use qualitative and quantitative measures, and employ innovative problem solving to ensure high quality deliverables and meaningful change
  • Assess current processes and make improvement recommendations based on observations, data, and metrics
  • Perform ongoing review of processes and operations CTQs; identify new problems and develop appropriate solutions
  • Build solid relationships across the organization
  • Ensure process improvement efforts align with business needs and goals
  • Facilitate process discovery and process modeling sessions resulting in standardized BPMN models

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Certification in either Lean or Six Sigma
  • 5+ years’ experience in business strategy or process engineering
  • Practical application of Lean/Six Sigma and/or TQM process evaluation
  • Agile certification a plus
  • Proficient in BPMN
  • Experience with advanced process modeling software

  • Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items

  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Some travel required (less than 10%)
