Manager, Business Systems - Accounting & Finance

The Manager, Business Systems - Accounting Finance manages the team responsible for the configuration and administration of business systems and the processes to enable system changes of the application in a controlled manner. This position works with the department leaders to recommend and implement system changes. Works on the design and implementation of projects and processes within Accounting and Finance, and provides support and guidance to team and department on non-routine issues and new situations.

• Create a high performing culture through associate and business resources. Select, coach, and provide leadership to associates and leaders.
• Design and implement training, programs and processes to achieve business results.
• Identify and resolve problems for both internal and external parties.
• Monitor and evaluate adherence to regulations, policies and procedures.
• Develop partnerships within the organization to engage in cross-functional business initiatives.
• Provide direction and consultation on change management processes and protocol
• Develop operational support for third party application system(s)
• Resolve escalated anomalies within the package system
• Provide analysis to ensure the system supports the business process
• Other duties as assigned

What you bring

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• 4-7 years related experience required
• 2 years of people management experience highly preferred
• Previous experience in insurance is a plus
• Financial applications experience such as Oracle Cloud and/or PeopleSoft highly preferred
• Report and analytics knowledge preferred in tools such as Power BI, Smartview, FRS, Dataiku, Excel, Cognos, or Tableau
• Project Management skills preferred
