Primary Function:

The position is primarily responsible for helping to develop and implement the company's capital allocation priorities, including maintaining a 3-statement model to be used in global cash forecasting. In addition to the quantitative aspects, this position will prepare management and board presentations. As a member of the Capital Markets team, this position will also be involved in debt financing, risk mitigation / hedging and daily cash liquidity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a 3-statement model to be used for indirect cash forecasting including forecasting capex, litigation, integration and restructuring spend and any other cash commitments
  • Assist in developing the capital allocation strategy including leading the preparation of management and board presentations
  • Drive efforts on cash flow analysis, including performance, peer comparisons and metrics
  • Support debt management efforts including modeling funding requirements, interest rate hedging, debt facility negotiation and covenant compliance
  • Help to forecast interest expense and income and analyze actuals
  • Support foreign exchange hedging program. This includes compiling worldwide foreign exchange exposures, formulating hedging strategies, executing foreign exchange trades and analyzing foreign exchange results
  • Manage execution of BD short-term borrowings and daily U.S. liquidity
  • Invest centrally managed corporate cash balances in U.S., including trade execution and performance analysis

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • BS/BA Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • MBA or CFA preferred
  • Experience in cash forecasting
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience required, preferably in Treasury
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with higher proficiency in Excel required
  • SAP and BPC proficiency preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, research analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative, while also working closely in identifying and meeting business needs
