Manager, CCHP Accounting

Responsible for managing all analysis, preparation and reporting functions of accounting, reimbursement, health care costs and statistics for Cook Children's Health Plan (CCHP). Responsible for management and preparation of the Texas Department of Insurance reports for Cook Children's Health Plan, and the HHSC reports for Cook Children's Health Plan.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Five years of Preparing Monthly Financials According to GAAP.
• Prefer three years of Preparing Monthly Health Plan Financials based on HHSC cost principles, Medicaid guidelines, CHIP Guidelines
• Three to Five Years of preparing TDI reports in accordance with NAIC guidelines
• Five to Ten Years direct experience working with Public and Government Auditors
• Able to work autonomously and be self-directed in project initiation
• 3 years Healthcare Supervisory experience required

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:

• Required to be a Certified Public Accountant
